Senior Demand Planner

About the role

The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts, optimizing inventory, and supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure product availability and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and business inputs.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse demand variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Operations to align demand and supply plans.
• Support S&OP meetings by providing demand insights and recommendations.
• Track inventory levels, identify risks of stock shortages or excess, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare demand planning reports, KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and planning systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques and S&OP processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
