Senior Design Researcher – Doha

About the role

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Design Researcher to join its Doha lab. You will lead mixed‑methods research that informs product innovation, working closely with the Boston team and regional partners to deliver high‑quality insights.

Key responsibilities

• Localize and execute complex, multi‑site research initiatives to gather global design and product feedback.
• Plan, run, and analyze global design studies in partnership with WHOOP Labs Boston.
• Adapt research protocols for the Doha context, including activity, session structure, and sample adjustments.
• Own region‑specific research projects and support remote global studies as a design research expert.
• Develop clear research plans, workflows, and deliverables while managing timelines with project‑management tools.
• Collaborate with recruitment, lab management, and fellow researchers to ensure end‑to‑end study delivery.
• Provide best‑in‑class service to lab visitors and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Assist quantitative research requests that explore user behavior at scale.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in user experience research, human factors, psychology, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience conducting research for product, design, or marketing environments.
• Proven experience with mixed‑methods research for software and hardware product development.
• Strong project‑management capabilities and ability to work independently across geographies.
