Senior Diesel Fuel Pump Calibration Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Diesel Fuel Pump Calibration Technician to join our maintenance team in Qatar. The role involves diagnosing, calibrating, repairing, and testing a variety of diesel fuel pump systems for heavy‑duty applications.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, calibrate, repair, and test inline, common‑rail, and rotary diesel fuel pumps.
• Disassemble, clean, re‑assemble, and calibrate pumps according to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilise test benches, specialised tools and measuring instruments for fuel‑injection systems.
• Prepare detailed job reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and service advisors for additional repairs and parts.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with diesel fuel pump systems.
• Strong familiarity with Bosch and Delphi fuel pump brands; experience with Cummins systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow strict safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Bosch fuel system expertise
• Delphi fuel system expertise
• Cummins fuel system knowledge (preferred)
• Inline, common‑rail and rotary diesel fuel pump handling
• Fuel pump calibration and testing
• Use of test benches and precision measuring instruments
