Senior Instrumentation Designer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to deliver high‑quality I&C design and drafting services for offshore and onshore projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring designs meet client specifications, regulatory standards and Worley’s internal quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review instrumentation and control drawings, specifications and documentation in accordance with local and global standards.
• Support standardisation of equipment specifications, drawing templates and document formats.
• Perform peer reviews, incorporate comments and ensure all deliverables pass Worley’s checking procedures.
• Participate in scope definition, change management and project reviews as required.
• Apply recognised offshore/onshore engineering practices and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to Quality Assurance and Occupational Health & Safety guidelines throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology – Instrumentation & Control.
• Extensive experience in design and engineering of instrumentation and control equipment.
• Proven background on offshore and onshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory requirements and client specifications.
• Ability to work safely and implement HSE best practices in design activities.
