Senior Digital Architect - AI/ML & Cloud

About the role

IT-Serve Qatar is hiring a Senior Digital Architect in Doha, Qatar, within its Oil and Gas sector. The role designs, implements and maintains cloud digital platforms, strengthens enterprise analytics through AI/ML and large-scale data processing, and works with business and technical teams to accelerate digital transformation and streamline data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, cloud-native architecture frameworks for AI/ML solutions, including MLOps pipelines, model deployment infrastructure and integration patterns
• Set architectural guidelines for generative AI, including safety and ethical considerations, and define standards for model deployment, monitoring and maintenance
• Pack AI/ML models as production-ready APIs or microservices and identify data and AI platforms and Auto-ML tools suited to business needs
• Partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions and establish governance for the AI model lifecycle
• Assess technical and information security risks, audit AI tools and practices, and give strategic guidance on cloud architecture and platform optimization

Required profile

• 8+ years in digital solution architecture, with at least 5 years on AI/ML solutions, preferably in the energy sector
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI/ML architecture
• Degree in Information Management, Engineering or a technology-related field; Master's or PhD in Data Science, Applied Machine Learning, Computer Science or Statistics highly desirable

Required skills

• AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and fine-tuning
• MLOps and DataOps, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring and automation
• DevOps, serverless computing and containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• One major cloud platform (Azure or GCP) and microservices architecture
• Data governance, cybersecurity and AI ethics and regulatory compliance
