Senior Engineer – SOC L2 Onsite Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Security Operations Center as an L2 Onsite Analyst. The role will focus on monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across the organization, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from SIEM, NDR, Email Security, and EDR platforms to identify suspicious activity.
• Investigate, remediate, and document security incidents in accordance with established processes.
• Correlate security data to uncover patterns, anomalies, and emerging threats.
• Maintain, configure, and enhance security tools, implementing new solutions as needed.
• Stay current on threat intelligence, applying insights to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Prepare monthly security reports and detailed incident reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship to junior analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security monitoring and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., SANS) are a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East or with an MSSP/MSP is desirable.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency with EDR solutions.
• Knowledge of NDR technologies.
• Implementation and management of Email Security tools.
