Senior Executive Head Chef – Qatar

About the role

A prestigious cultural institution in Qatar is looking for a Senior Executive Head Chef to lead its culinary operations in a refined, culturally driven hospitality setting. The chef will oversee the full range of kitchen work, including menu development, culinary innovation, quality assurance, cost control and team leadership, across multiple venues and high-profile initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior leadership to set short- and mid-term culinary strategy and plan menus across outlets and concepts, including seasonal menus, signature dining and special culinary events
• Oversee all kitchen operations, enforce hygiene, food safety and sanitation rules, inspect facilities and equipment, and run audits
• Manage food costs through recipe engineering and portion control, maintain inventory and pricing, and oversee procurement and supplier relationships
• Lead, mentor and develop the culinary team, providing coaching, feedback and professional development

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Executive Chef, Executive Chef or equivalent senior leadership role in a premium or high-volume environment
• Minimum 6-8 years in a Head Chef or senior culinary leadership capacity
• Experience in culturally driven or concept-based dining is highly desirable
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar
