Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Forward Deployed)

About the role

Scale is looking for a senior full‑stack software engineer to work directly with public‑sector clients, building AI‑enabled applications that impact millions of citizens. The role is forward‑deployed, meaning you will spend part of your time on‑site with customers to gather feedback and deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with public‑sector partners to scope problems, collect feedback and deliver AI‑driven applications.
• Design and implement production‑grade full‑stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js and databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP, using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute reusable platform components for international client use cases.
• Work closely with design, product and data teams to ensure architectural consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience.
• Proven ability to build scalable, production‑grade applications and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Experience delivering solutions within customer environments and handling ambiguous requirements.
