Senior IT PMO Analyst

About the role

BGTS is seeking a Senior IT PMO Analyst to lead governance, reporting and delivery oversight across its project portfolio. The role will shape project management standards, drive continuous improvement and ensure transparent, data‑driven decision‑making for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve project management methodologies, governance frameworks and standards.
• Develop executive dashboards, portfolio reports and Steering Committee packs that deliver meaningful insights.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership and facilitate governance meetings.
• Monitor project performance, report on progress, milestones and delivery health.
• Identify governance gaps, implement corrective actions and champion continuous improvement.
• Support project teams in delivering initiatives within scope, timeline and budget.
• Facilitate planning workshops to surface dependencies, constraints and risks.
• Provide guidance, coaching and governance support to project managers and delivery teams.
• Create, maintain and standardise project documentation, templates and reporting artefacts.
• Ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks, PMO standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• 12+ years of PMO experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks and PMO best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with project portfolio management tools such as Planview.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other analytics platforms.
• Expertise in creating executive dashboards and portfolio reporting.
