Senior Manager – International Branches Operational Risk

About the role

The Senior Manager will support the Vice President of International Operational Risk by providing oversight, guidance and challenge to QNB Group’s International Branches. The role focuses on implementing a consistent operational risk framework across all overseas units.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in rolling out the new QNB Group Operational Risk Framework, including policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with Heads of Risk in each International Branch to ensure consistent methodology and execution of operational risk practices.
• Analyze and report operational risk data to enhance management oversight.
• Disseminate and explain Group Risk Committee directives to relevant officers and staff.
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect the bank’s interests and avoid financial losses.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of experience in operational risk management or a related banking function.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
