Senior Manager Space Management

About the role

This role joins a world‑class duty‑free team in Doha, leading the design and optimisation of retail store layouts. The Senior Manager Space Management will collaborate with Category Analysts, Merchandising and Store Planning to ensure planograms are retail‑ready and drive sales, profit and shopper convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales and traffic data to maximise profitability of store space.
• Develop and implement strategic space‑management plans that create a luxury shopping experience and support annual revenue growth.
• Identify and capture revenue opportunities by enhancing the retail offering and optimising shelf performance.
• Monitor market trends, customer initiatives and competitor activities to inform space decisions.
• Design and produce planograms that reflect customer purchasing behaviour and improve space efficiency.
• Establish space planning as a central commercial function, overseeing store size, layout and product allocation across the portfolio.
• Document and communicate visual‑merchandising best practices.
• Lead the creation of new reporting and analytics to improve space‑planning efficiency.
• Define KPIs to hold the team accountable for continuous improvement.
• Manage store clusters and conduct space walks to validate occupancy metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in retail space planning, category analysis or merchandising.
• Proven ability to analyse data and develop strategic space plans.
• Strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
