Senior Offshore Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Offshore Construction Supervisor will lead construction and installation activities for offshore oil & gas projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and drive progress on both greenfield and brownfield sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, equipment usage and daily progress.
• Lead coordination meetings with contractors and key stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction risks.
• Review and validate progress reports, method statements, lifting plans and ITPs.
• Supervise activities at fabrication yards and offshore sites, ensuring adherence to standards and contract specifications.
• Coordinate pre‑commissioning, commissioning, walkdowns and system handover.
• Maintain daily site records, permit‑to‑work compliance and manage contractor mobilisation/demobilisation.
• Liaise with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of offshore construction and installation experience.
• Proven track record in steel‑structure installation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of piping & mechanical installation, lifting operations and offshore logistics.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield projects, wellhead jackets and multi‑discipline construction.
