Senior Piping Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead the design and engineering of piping systems for oil and gas facilities. The role combines technical expertise with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring projects meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications across the project team.
• Support standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
• Conduct peer reviews, incorporate comments, and maintain quality assurance compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project scope, cost, and schedule targets.
• Apply local and global standards to achieve technical excellence in piping design and stress analysis.
• Promote HSE management and safe working practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Mandatory MME engineering accreditation (or willingness to obtain during probation).
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is an advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE practices and quality assurance systems.

Required skills

• Piping engineering and detailed piping design.
• Piping stress analysis and pipe support design.
• Topside and onshore plant layout design.
• Knowledge of onshore/offshore engineering practices, regulations, and codes.
• Piping material specification and procurement standards.
• Quality Assurance system implementation.
• HSE management and safe work practices.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 3D review software: Navisworks, SPR.
