Senior Procurement Specialist (Qatarization)

About the role

The Qatar Free Zones Authority is seeking a highly driven Senior Procurement Specialist to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities and support strategic sourcing initiatives. This position plays a critical role in delivering value for money, operational efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement life cycle, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract award.
• Ensure all procurement actions align with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, commercial terms, and service levels.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and maintain competitive sourcing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors for long‑term value and reliability.
• Monitor procurement timelines to guarantee timely delivery of goods and services.
• Analyze procurement data and spending trends to uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support departments in developing and executing annual procurement plans.
• Prepare procurement reports, briefs, and performance updates for management.
• Maintain proper documentation, audit compliance, and record management throughout the cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, and contract management.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
