Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead capital projects from concept through commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. This role requires full‑cycle project management across all engineering disciplines in the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end project management for assigned capital projects, covering feasibility, concept optimisation, FEED, EPIC and commissioning.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and timelines, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present reports, technical documentation and meeting minutes to stakeholders.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience in engineering coordination during Feasibility, Concept Optimisation, FEED and EPIC phases.
• Strong communication and team‑building abilities, with experience presenting and writing technical reports.
• B.Sc. in an engineering discipline; higher degree or professional membership is a plus.
