SIS Well Placement Engineer

About the role

The SIS Well Placement Engineer supports the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable well placement products and services to customers in Qatar. The role works closely with operations, sales and product delivery teams to provide technical expertise, promote new technologies and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time technical support to operations and assist in incident response, recovery and investigation.
• Consult with design and technical engineers to develop and optimise technical job designs for project leads.
• Identify and evaluate new, cost‑effective techniques and value‑added products and services.
• Participate in risk management, apply lessons learned and communicate continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain visibility with customers through professional societies, technical publications and collaborations with universities and research institutes.
