Senior Tax Analyst – Qatar

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to lead tax operations for our Qatar UPE entity and support the wider group. The role combines deep knowledge of international and Qatari tax law with strong IFRS accounting expertise to ensure accurate tax compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax computations, VAT and withholding tax (WHT) compliance for the Qatar entity.
• Oversee tax compliance submissions across group jurisdictions, ensuring consistency and alignment with local laws.
• Assist in current and deferred tax calculations, tax provisions and Pillar Two disclosures under IAS 12.
• Conduct detailed WHT analysis on cross‑border payments, interpret double tax treaties and support transfer‑pricing compliance.
• Support transaction‑related tax analysis, M&A due diligence and review of transaction agreements.
• Participate in tax technology implementations, including Oracle TRCS and Oracle EPM, to automate provisioning and reporting.
• Implement tax controls, manage budget preparation and coordinate documentation for tax authority audits.
• Contribute to group‑level tax reporting, Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and Pillar Two monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Taxation or Business.
• Advanced knowledge of international tax regulations, OECD BEPS initiatives and Pillar Two rules.
• Familiarity with Qatar Income Tax Law, executive regulations and relevant double tax treaties.
• Experience in complex tax compliance, corporate accounting and deferred tax calculations.
• Proven experience within GCC or multinational corporate environments.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
