About the role
The Senior Ticketing Agent is responsible for creating reservations, quoting fares and issuing tickets for passengers at the front office. You will interact with customers both over the phone and in person, ensuring a high level of satisfaction while protecting revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage passenger reservations using timetables, airline manuals and tariff guides.
- Quote accurate fares, issue tickets and Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs) to minimise complaints and debit notes.
- Process ticket refunds in line with finance procedures.
- Handle visa updates, medical transactions and tariff inquiries.
- Manage rebates, discounted tickets and produce shift sales reports.
- Maintain queues and ensure smooth front‑office operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in airline ticketing or passenger handling.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong influencing, negotiating and relationship‑building abilities.
- Proficiency with computer applications, especially MS Office.
