Senior Underwriting Officer – Property & Casualty

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Underwriting Officer to manage and grow our corporate portfolio of Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident insurance products. The role involves servicing existing clients, assessing risks, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Service existing corporate customers across Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines.
- Underwrite risks within the authority limits defined in the Operations Manual.
- Determine appropriate premiums, coverage limits and policy conditions.
- Assess risks and issue quotations in line with underwriting guidelines and reinsurance arrangements.
- Negotiate premiums and policy terms with clients and insurance brokers.
Required profile
- 5‑7 years of underwriting experience with corporate accounts in Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Strong underwriting technical and marketing capabilities.
- Good knowledge of insurance products and services.
- Excellent problem‑solving, negotiation and communication skills.
