Signage Production & Installation Technician

About the role

The Signage Production & Installation Technician is responsible for manufacturing, fabricating, assembling and installing a wide variety of indoor and outdoor signage for commercial projects in Doha. The role requires precision, quality focus and the ability to work safely at heights and on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture, fabricate, assemble and install indoor and outdoor signage.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates for vinyl graphics and signage applications.
• Apply vinyl graphics, mount, laminate, trim and finish printed graphics.
• Install ACP cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic & metal letters, large‑format vinyl graphics, banners, post & panel signs, wayfinding & directional signage, and sign frames with concrete bases.
• Operate installation tools, machinery and power equipment safely.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and installation layouts.
• Conduct quality inspections before, during and after installations.
• Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow health, safety and quality standards and travel to project sites as required.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in sign production, fabrication and installation.
• Strong practical knowledge of indoor and outdoor signage manufacturing.
• Experience with vinyl application, graphic mounting and lamination.
• Hands‑on expertise in ACP cladding, channel letters, structural signage and sign fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings, measurements and production specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good organizational, planning and time‑management skills.
• Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel for project installations.
• Basic English reading, writing and communication skills; GCC experience is a plus.
