SOC Senior Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SOC Senior Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity operations team. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while leveraging Google SecOps and Google Chronicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM, EDR, and other tools.
• Perform incident detection, investigation, triage, escalation, and remediation.
• Analyze network, application, and system logs to uncover suspicious activity.
• Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules, use cases, and YARA‑L signatures.
• Reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support risk mitigation.
• Support security controls, audits, policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare security reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for effective incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of SOC or cybersecurity experience (MSSP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SIEM monitoring, incident response, and threat detection techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with Google SecOps / Google Chronicle (event monitoring, advanced search, detection engineering, alert tuning).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, Google SecOps Certification) are a plus.
