Software Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Test Engineer (or Senior Test Engineer) with solid experience in software quality engineering, particularly within the Travel & Airlines domain. The role involves creating and executing test cases, managing requirements traceability, preparing test environments, and supporting UAT activities to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute functional, manual, automation, and performance test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to guarantee full coverage of business requirements.
• Perform smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, black‑box and white‑box testing.
• Validate test environment readiness, set up test labs, and generate test data for execution.
• Log, track, report, and drive defect resolution through to closure.
• Support the team and client during UAT/BUT activities and coordinate defect ownership.
• Maintain testing documentation, knowledge repositories, and QA artefacts.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and functional teams to resolve quality issues and estimate testing effort.

Required profile

• 2+ years of software testing experience; 4+ years preferred for senior‑level positions.
• Hands‑on experience in the Travel & Airlines domain.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
