Sourcing & Procurement Manager (China & Global Markets)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead sourcing activities for machinery, equipment and structural components across China and other global markets. The role will be remote, with occasional travel to the UAE and other international sites to meet suppliers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers in China and worldwide, building long‑term relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing from purchase orders through final delivery, coordinating with engineering, logistics, operations, finance and quality teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery timelines and commercial terms, and mitigate sourcing risks.
• Conduct market research to uncover new products, technologies and sourcing opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience sourcing machinery, equipment or structural components from China and other international markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier ecosystem and international logistics, import and customs procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Proven negotiation, cost analysis and vendor management abilities.
