Spa Therapist (Female)

About the role

The Spa Therapist provides massage and body treatment services to guests at our luxury resort in Doha, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and check for contraindications before each service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of techniques and modalities.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail offerings.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain tools and treatment areas.
• Monitor treatment times and handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of related spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
