Spa Therapist

About the role

A Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering treatments and a whole spa experience to a high standard, ensuring guests' needs are met in line with the spa's vision, core values and brand standards. The role covers treatments, guest care, sales targets and the upkeep of treatment areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver treatments and the full spa experience to a high standard, tailoring them according to training
• Connect with guests, understand their needs and record their preferences
• Know all treatments offered and current promotions
• Complete handovers and follow-ups on guest satisfaction, acting on any issues
• Follow the roster and daily appointment schedule
• Manage professional stock and supplies, and record daily sales figures accurately
• Follow the spa's standard operating procedures and policies
• Keep treatment areas and rooms clean and hygienic, and look after equipment and products
• Use the correct quantity of products as specified by manufacturers
• Supervise user and equipment safety and follow health, safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene, and be punctual and prepared
• Assist with demonstrations and events, and cover reception when required
