Sr. Security Assistant

About the role

The Sr. Security Assistant supports the Senior Security Officer in managing all security activities at the company's site in Mesaieed, Qatar. The role involves supervising the security team, ensuring smooth operation of gates, fences and access points, and stepping in as the senior officer when required.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily functioning of the security team to meet site requirements.
• Monitor main gate, fence, and other entry points; conduct periodic checks of premises.
• Control vehicle access, oversee car‑park conditions and signage.
• Patrol fences and gates, perform risk assessments for security activities.
• Prepare reports on surveys, investigations and improvement projects.
• Maintain main barrier gate and turnstile in collaboration with maintenance trades.
• Train security staff on procedures, conduct refresher sessions and demonstrate security checks.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems and access‑control operations.
• Support audits, inspections and compliance reviews; keep accurate incident logs and patrol records.

Required profile

• Minimum Higher Secondary School (12 years) education.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar security role.
• Relevant security training courses completed.
• Fluent English; Arabic spoken and written is an advantage.
• Good computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
