Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead the stewarding team to ensure efficient clean‑up operations, maintain high standards of hygiene, and support banquet and kitchen activities at The Ritz‑Carlton, Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to improve clean‑up efficiency and ensure proper water temperature and chemical levels.
• Assist with banquet plate‑ups, support cooks and kitchen staff, and transport stock for buffet and banquet services.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, uniform standards, and company policies, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
