Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, staging, and managing merchandise and supplies for the St. Regis Residence in Doha. The role ensures proper storage, inventory control, and adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark for placement, and deliver to the appropriate area.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; refuse damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and maintain clean, sanitized refrigeration equipment.
• Monitor stock levels, notify supervisors of low inventory, and remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
