Subject Matter Expert – Manufacturing & Industrial Operations (English/Arabic – GCC) – Remote

About the role

Lilt is seeking experienced manufacturing and industrial operations professionals to support a cutting‑edge AI benchmarking project focused on Modern Standard Arabic for GCC production and supply‑chain environments. As a Subject Matter Expert you will create and review realistic scenarios that reflect the challenges faced by factories and industrial sites across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic manufacturing and industrial operations scenarios in Arabic or English, covering production workflows, procurement coordination, quality control, maintenance, process optimisation, warehouse activities, and shipping/receiving.
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for problem‑solving, engineering analysis, inventory coordination, and production‑management tasks.
• Review AI‑generated and human‑generated responses for factual accuracy, operational efficiency, safety awareness and industrial realism.
• Contribute to “gold‑standard” solutions that embody best practices across GCC manufacturing, engineering and supply‑chain operations.

Required profile

• Native‑level Modern Standard Arabic with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, production management, engineering, procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Background in roles such as purchasing & procurement, production supervision, industrial or mechanical engineering, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics coordination or manufacturing operations.
• Deep understanding of industrial workflows, safety standards, production processes, procurement procedures and GCC manufacturing environments.
