Talent Manager

About the role

The Talent Manager will play a pivotal role in driving organisational talent initiatives by leveraging data, collaborating across functions, and optimising talent systems and reporting. This position supports the overall Talent Strategy through analytics, project leadership, and the design of competency‑based development journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytics to interpret talent data and deliver actionable insights for talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development.
• Develop and implement data‑driven talent management and retention strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Create dashboards, visualisations and regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting key talent metrics and predictive trends.
• Assess, optimise and automate talent management systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and privacy.
• Partner with HR leadership, IT and the Talent & Business Psychology team on major projects such as Talent Review, Succession Planning and competency‑based development frameworks.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive talent information and support other departmental duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and HR partners.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior leadership.
• High level of discretion handling confidential talent data.
• Experience in managing or improving talent management systems and processes.
