Tax Internship – Business Tax – Qatar

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Business Tax team in Qatar as an intern, supporting the delivery of corporate tax services to a diverse client base. You will gain hands‑on experience with Qatar’s income tax framework while working alongside senior tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and assist in formulating solutions for client issues.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation.
• Research Qatar tax laws, international tax treaties and regulatory updates.
• Help prepare tax computations, reconciliations and related reports.
• Collaborate with senior staff to analyse financial statements for tax implications.
• Support responses to tax authority audits and prepare presentations for stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate tax records ensuring compliance with firm policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
