Team Lead Enterprise Cards & Payments

About the role

The bank is seeking a highly skilled IT Team Lead to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise‑level cards and payments systems. You will combine deep technical expertise with proven leadership to ensure secure, reliable payment processing for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary IT team of developers, analysts and support staff.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of cards and payments projects, ensuring they meet time, scope and budget targets.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high‑availability payment platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and implement continuous improvements.
• Define the IT roadmap for cards and payments in collaboration with senior management.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with risk, compliance and business units.
• Ensure all solutions comply with PCI‑DSS, GDPR and local banking regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 7‑10 years of IT experience, including 3‑5 years in a leadership role within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience managing enterprise‑level cards and payments systems.
• Strong understanding of payment processing standards and emerging fintech trends.
