Technical Coordinator - Maintenance Projects

About the role

Dietsmann, a global provider of maintenance, engineering and industrial facilities management services, is looking for a Technical Coordinator based in Doha, Qatar. The role supports the Project Manager in coordinating the technical and operational work of several Work Packages, keeping scope, schedule, cost, deliverables, resources and dependencies aligned. It covers day-to-day coordination and technical oversight across maintenance, integrity, inspection, asset hierarchy breakdown, spare parts and CMMS activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating Work Packages, monitoring progress, deliverables, risks, issues, resources and contractual commitments.
• Maintain and monitor the Work Task Schedule, milestones, priorities and dependencies across Work Packages and Work Units.
• Support project planning, cost monitoring, resource forecasting, progress measurement and management reporting.
• Coordinate Work Package leads to resolve interface issues, manage priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor deliverable status, document control, quality reviews, comments and corrective actions.
• Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, management presentations, action trackers and meeting minutes.
• Provide technical coordination across Maintenance Engineering, HB, Integrity, Inspection, Spare Parts and CMMS.
• Identify schedule slippage, resource constraints, scope gaps and cross-package risks, escalate issues with recommended solutions.
• Support change management, scope clarification, progress validation and documentation for commercial discussions.
• Deputize for the Project Manager when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering, asset integrity, project coordination or engineering services, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or offshore projects.
• Good understanding of maintenance strategies, equipment criticality, HB, inspection, integrity, spare parts/BOM and CMMS.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of project planning, scope management, cost control, progress measurement and resource management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with SAP PM, Maximo, Power BI or similar project and asset-management tools is an advantage.
