Technical Lead – IT Solutions Architecture

About the role

As a member of the IT team in Doha, you will lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable technology solutions that align with business objectives. You will own solution architecture, ensure compliance with development standards, and support end‑to‑end delivery from design through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, resilient IT solutions while maintaining technical integrity and avoiding duplication.
• Develop and unit‑test complex modules in bespoke development scenarios.
• Contribute to functional, interface and non‑functional specifications and prepare high‑level and low‑level design artifacts.
• Conduct thorough testing of non‑functional requirements, perform QA reviews and unit‑test case reviews.
• Proactively tune performance of production applications, address slow transactions, application errors and query optimisation.
• Manage technical debt for assigned business applications with a clear remediation plan.
• Enforce compliance with QRIT policies, support SLA definition and review release notes before production rollout.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of incidents, ensure timely fixes and proper promotion through release management.
• Assist in UI/UX development and collaborate with third‑party vendors and internal teams to design robust interfaces.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution architecture and delivery of enterprise‑grade IT solutions.
• Strong understanding of software governance, quality assurance and release management processes.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve integration goals.
• Excellent analytical skills for performance tuning and incident root‑cause analysis.
