Temporary Accountant – School Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Accountant to join the finance team of our school. In this role you will oversee the school’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting while supporting staff. You will work closely with school leadership to align financial strategies with educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial operations for the school.
• Ensure all financial records are accurate and comply with relevant regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare reports and key metrics.
• Provide guidance and support to finance staff and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management.
• Professional accounting certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance team members is a plus.
