Training Manager

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the delivery and management of all Continuing Airworthiness training activities, ensuring that training solutions are fit‑for‑purpose, cost‑effective and aligned with contractual milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training programmes to meet contracted milestones (CDRL B02) and manage associated documentation.
• Identify business opportunities, develop bid proposals and outline solutions compliant with Part 145, EASA and EMARS.
• Conduct training situation analyses, produce consolidated reports and outline syllabi.
• Oversee delivery of training via classroom, virtual, practical and on‑the‑job methods, including examinations, assessments and feedback.
• Manage training data, facilities, trainers, records, course scheduling and the BAE Systems/BSL mandated training calendar.
• Lead continuous improvement of training design, delivery and compliance with the Training Management Plan.
• Support governance, assurance audits and implement corrective actions in line with QEAF procedures.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in aviation or technical training environments.
• Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to analyse training needs, develop solutions and manage large‑scale training projects.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
