Treasury & Cash Reconciliation Senior Analyst

About the role

The Treasury & Cash Reconciliation Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all cash revenue streams. This role works closely with internal finance teams and external banking partners to resolve discrepancies and improve reconciliation efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of cash revenue streams and monitor banking transactions.
• Identify and analyse discrepancies between system records, bank statements, and revenue reports, and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly revenue‑related journal entries.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external banking partners to resolve differences.
• Maintain strong reconciliation controls, documentation, and audit evidence.
• Identify automation opportunities and support the transition to digital reconciliation tools.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving first‑match ratios and streamlining workflows.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with 8+ years of experience in cash reconciliations, financial controls, and accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal posting, and audit requirements.
• Experience working with banks, payment gateways, or high‑volume transaction environments.
• Proven ability to analyse financial data and identify trends.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
