Treasury Sales Manager

About the role

The Treasury Sales Manager will market and cross‑sell treasury products and services to existing corporate clients and acquire new relationships, focusing on the Qatar and Dubai markets. The role involves developing product capabilities, generating funding revenues, and supporting the bank’s overall treasury strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Market and cross‑sell treasury products to existing and prospective corporate clients.
• Formulate and execute marketing strategies in coordination with Relationship Managers in Qatar and the Treasury Centre in Dubai.
• Manage dealing responsibilities on the FX and Money Market desk, ensuring profitable spreads.
• Develop and price FX, interest‑rate, equity, bond and hybrid derivative structures.
• Generate funding centre revenues by optimizing cross‑currency fund deployment.
• Service top‑tier corporate accounts and achieve individual and team targets.
• Identify and acquire new‑to‑bank clients to expand the treasury portfolio.
• Maintain foreign‑currency positions, monitor limits, and reconcile exceptions.
• Record transactions, produce MIS reports, and address treasury‑related queries.
• Develop counter‑party relationships to secure competitive pricing.
• Ensure compliance with dealing‑room and credit limits and uphold ethical standards.
• Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and ALCO strategies.
• Produce market research reports and liaise with regulators on foreign‑currency matters.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in finance or an MBA, preferably with CFA designation.
• 5–10 years of sales experience in a large financial institution, selling treasury products.
• Proven track record of servicing corporate clients and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of FX, derivatives, money‑market instruments and funding operations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FX, interest‑rate, equity, bond and hybrid derivative structures.
• Ability to create and price complex treasury products.
• Understanding of liquidity and funding management.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems and MIS reporting.
