Treasury Specialist – Financial Forecasting & Cash Management

About the role

The Treasury Specialist provides high‑level guidance on cash‑flow forecasting, funding, investment and distribution proposals. Working closely with the Head of Treasury, the role ensures that financial plans are accurate, compliant and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and update cash‑flow forecasts across all ventures, offering specialized advice on forecasting principles and investment management.
• Review and endorse internal funding, investment proposals and shareholder distribution calculations, ensuring alignment with cash‑flow forecasts and lender agreements.
• Maintain optimal bank‑account structures, propose optimizations, and monitor interest rates to maximize returns.
• Ensure accounting records comply with policies, chart of accounts and accounting principles.
• Provide financial analysis, interpret variances from budgets and prepare reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop business and capital‑spending plans.
• Interpret financial policies, advise on counterparties for investments and foreign‑exchange transactions.
• Lead enhancements of financial systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Offer expert technical interpretation of financing and lending agreements and engage lenders, facility agents and shareholders on compliance matters.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local and international banking systems and practices.
• Experience in cash‑flow forecasting, investment management and funding structures.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Proven capability to develop and implement treasury policies and procedures.
