Turnaround Static Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Turnaround Static Equipment Engineer supports the planning, execution and close‑out of plant turnarounds. Working closely with the Turnaround Coordination Team, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and contractors, the role ensures that all static equipment work is delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and drive the execution strategy for static equipment scope, including detailed scheduling and resource optimisation.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues and implement recovery actions when delays occur.
• Track turnaround progress using schedules, performance indicators and trend analysis; apply corrective measures as needed.
• Update schedules for emergent scope, ensuring changes are evaluated and approved.
• Verify readiness of materials, manpower, tools, permits and other prerequisites before execution.
• Support mechanical completion, punch‑list clearance and pre‑startup readiness verification.
• Maintain comprehensive turnaround documentation such as worklists, execution plans, risk registers and close‑out reports.
• Create and maintain SAP master data for preventive maintenance schedules and ensure integration with planning tools like Primavera.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in turnaround planning and execution for industrial facilities.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and quality requirements in a plant environment.
