About the role

We are seeking an Usher to greet and welcome guests at La Cigale Hotel in Doha. The role involves managing seating, escorting guests to their tables, and maintaining a pleasant entrance area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests professionally upon arrival.
• Manage guest seating and table allocation efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Monitor table availability and guest flow throughout the dining area.
• Assist the service team with guest requests as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries politely and professionally.
• Keep the entrance and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Adhere to company service, hygiene, and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, welcoming, and customer‑focused personality.
• Well‑groomed appearance with professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage guest seating and waiting lists efficiently.
• Strong English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Capability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
