VP/Director – Education Private Equity (Doha)

About the role

This senior position leads the education‑focused private equity team in Doha, overseeing the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to exit. The role combines strategic portfolio management, fundraising, and impact measurement within the K‑12 sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive all phases of transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling and preparation of investment materials.
• Lead and develop direct reports (Associates and Senior Associates) and foster a high‑performance team culture.
• Define and execute the overall strategy for the education fund, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and financial targets.
• Manage fundraising and capital‑raising activities to support portfolio growth.
• Oversee financial performance of portfolio companies, optimizing returns while mitigating risk.
• Develop frameworks to measure and report the social and educational impact of investments.

Required profile

• Prior M&A experience at a top investment bank or within an education‑focused private‑equity fund.
• Strong passion for education, specifically the K‑12 market.
• Degree from a top‑tier institution in a relevant discipline.
• Proven ability to coach and lead analysts and associates.
• Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
