Workshop Machining Supervisor – India Recruitment

About the role

The Workshop Machining Supervisor will lead all machining activities in the workshop to support operations readiness, commissioning and start‑up for QatarEnergy LNG. The role ensures the highest standards of safety, quality, integrity and reliability while coordinating resources and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise machining activities, optimizing resource utilization and ensuring compliance with international standards and company QA/QC requirements.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment, conduct periodic tests, and guarantee full availability of consumables.
• Track progress against the bi‑weekly schedule and coordinate work during normal operations and shutdowns.
• Deliver Toolbox Talks (TBT) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure proper handling of turning/machining materials, returning unused items to the warehouse with documentation.
• Oversee balancing jobs and uphold the highest quality standards for the division.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector in a similar supervisory role.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.
• Ability to conduct TBTs, hazard identification and read engineering drawings.
