3rd Engineer – Offshore Support Vessel

About the role

Join an offshore support vessel operating in Qatar as a 3rd Engineer. You will support the safe operation and maintenance of critical engine‑room systems, gaining valuable offshore DP vessel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engine‑room rounds, inspections and planned maintenance activities.
• Report defects to senior engineers and assist in troubleshooting machinery systems.
• Ensure reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps and auxiliary equipment through proactive maintenance.
• Carry out maintenance tasks in line with company and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment by upholding housekeeping and safety standards.
• Monitor fuel, lubrication and cooling systems to enhance vessel reliability.
• Support DP (Dynamic Positioning) maintenance activities.
• Collaborate as an active member of the engineering team to ensure efficient vessel operations.

Required profile

• A‑III/2 Certificate of Competency.
• DP Maintenance Certificate (Engine Room).
• BOSIET, H2S and ERM certifications.
• Minimum 12 months effective sailing time on CSV, DSV or MPSV vessels.
• At least 2 months effective sailing time on DP2 KPOS vessels.
• NOC approved status preferred.
