Accountant – Chairman Office

About the role

The Group Securities is seeking a dedicated Accountant to support the Chairman Office. This role will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and handle cash management for a leading investment organization in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs across the Chairman Office.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and monthly salary transfers.
• Collect, verify, and summarize petty‑cash bills; prepare related cheques and vouchers.
• Maintain and file hard‑copy transaction records.
• Encash petty cash and other company cheques, including personal expense reimbursements.
• Process employee overtime sheets, calculate leave payments, and manage final settlements.
• Handle WPS salary transfers, bank uploads, and non‑WPS salary payments.
• Coordinate cash salary distribution and ensure timely payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong financial analysis, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of Qatar's Wage Protection System (WPS).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
