Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will manage and maintain the organization’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. This role supports decision‑making by providing insightful analysis of financial data and maintaining robust accounting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements.
• Develop, maintain, and compare budgets to actual costs, producing periodic variance reports.
• Establish and record entries in the chart of accounts, ensuring proper classification.
• Implement, modify, and document record‑keeping and accounting systems using current technology.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to forecast future performance.
• Ensure real‑time availability and accuracy of financial reports.
• Support HSE initiatives and contribute to safety and incident reporting as required.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or CPA.
• 3‑5 years of experience in construction, real estate, or retail accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial market fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP functional modules.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
