Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the full accounting function across a diversified group of companies, ensuring accurate records, timely closings, and robust internal controls. This role supports management decision‑making through reliable financial reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple business units, including automotive, F&B, retail, real estate, maintenance, events, car service centers, and natural stone trading.
• Supervise and coach the finance team, assign work, review outputs, and meet strict deadlines.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, supplier payments, customer receipts, intercompany transactions, accruals, pre‑payments, and provisions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, ensuring complete and accurate ledgers.
• Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, P&L, balance sheets, cash‑flow reports and performance analysis for each business unit.
• Maintain strong controls over cash, bank accounts, petty cash, corporate cards, inventory, receivables, payables and financial commitments.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, sales, warehouse and branch teams to ensure correct recording of sales, purchases, stock movements and service revenue.
• Support ERP implementation, chart‑of‑accounts standardisation, finance policy rollout and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Interface with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, suppliers and internal departments, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA is mandatory.
• 7‑10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in a multi‑company, multi‑branch or shared‑services finance environment.
• Proven track record of leading month‑end closings, financial reporting and audit processes.

• Inventory accounting for vehicles, spare parts, F&B stock, retail goods and stone trading.
• Fixed‑assets accounting and cost allocation across entities and projects.
• Cash management, bank reconciliation and treasury reporting.
• Chart‑of‑accounts design and finance policy development.
• Process improvement and internal‑control design.
