AI Upskilling Lead

About the role

Scale AI is seeking a senior individual contributor to own and scale a learning system that drives GenAI adoption across public‑sector audiences. The role combines curriculum design, platform management and thought‑leadership to build AI fluency that directly supports national transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead LMS strategy, selection and rollout, including certification and badging, as the scalable backbone for national delivery.
• Define and maintain a course catalog that builds AI fluency and drives adoption of Scale’s deployed use cases.
• Design and launch flagship programs, starting with an expanded foundational AI literacy course, modular for diverse audiences.
• Build a measurement layer that ties learning outcomes to adoption metrics, not just completion counts.
• Adapt programs across markets with localization built in (language, institutional context, cultural norms).
• Establish repeatable delivery frameworks and partner with local vendors or national training bodies.
• Deliver high‑stakes workshops and briefings to public‑sector teams and senior leadership, translating technical GenAI concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing and events teams to plan speaker series and public‑facing sessions that raise Scale’s profile in regional AI‑learning conversations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or enablement, with demonstrated ownership of a learning function, platform, or program at scale.
• Public‑sector or government experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to design AI‑focused curricula that drive adoption of GenAI use cases.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and certification/badging frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical GenAI concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Strong measurement and analytics capabilities to link learning outcomes to adoption metrics.
