Aircraft Mechanic - Cabin Base

About the role

As an Aircraft Mechanic in the Cabin Base team (Heavy/Light), you will ensure the cabin interior of Qatar’s fleet meets the highest 5‑star standards. Working under QR procedures, you will diagnose, repair and maintain cabin structures, IFE systems and related components to support safe and on‑time operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, tests and quality checks on cabin components, engines and related systems.
• Repair, replace or rebuild aircraft structures, wings, fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units according to technical orders.
• Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings and engineering orders to determine corrective actions.
• Implement technical solutions for line‑maintenance issues and ensure compliance with company and customer procedures.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records in line with QR standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in cabin or IFE maintenance.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and follow strict safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Required skills

• Heavy Cabin and In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) maintenance fundamentals.
• Aircraft structure repair, rigging and hydraulic system maintenance.
• Reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
• Technical line‑maintenance problem solving.
