Maintenance Controller – Plans & Schedules (Aircraft)

About the role

Plans, manages and implements maintenance, modification, retrofit and repair solutions for aircraft, components, support equipment and enterprise products at Al Udeid AFB, ensuring compliance while coordinating engineering, tooling, materials and hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define retrofit and repair solutions that meet customer, regulatory and company requirements, including procedures, special engineering, tooling kits and work packages.
• Plan, organize and control maintenance and repair activities for aircraft, components and support equipment, translating program requirements into executable schedules and material plans.
• Lead project development, implementation and technical support for modifications, driving workforce planning, skills development and performance management.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain and customer representatives to ensure timely accomplishment and monitor progress, risks and corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, process improvement and corrective actions to reduce repeat defects and ensure documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years related experience (≈60 months) in aircraft maintenance planning or a comparable field.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, overtime and possible rotating shifts.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance and meet export‑control requirements.
• Eligibility for work visa and relocation to Qatar as required.
